Neil Zoladkiewicz (Ealing) became an Oblate of Ealing Abbey in October 2011. He retired in summer 2017 after 34 years as a teacher of English and Director of Drama at Richard Challoner Secondary School in New Malden. He has directed and written numerous plays for the school and he is looking forward to finishing a novel in retirement as well as enjoying cultural pursuits and his friends. Neil joined the team after the 4th Congress, as Treasurer in November 2017. He was the National Coordinator for the 4^thOblate Congress in 2023 and became the Chair of the Team in January 2025.

Klara Brunnhuber (Douai) was born in Hungary, grew up in Germany and moved to London in 2000. She made her final Oblation at Douai on 31,10.09.  She is married to Thomas and they have two grown-up children; she works in medical publishing.  Klara has been a member of the UK Oblates Team since 2010 and was the National Coordinator for the 4^th Oblate Congress in 2017.

Thomas Brunnhuber (Douai) was born in Germany and moved to the UK in 2000. He became an Oblate Novice of in July 2008 and made his final Oblation on 31.10.09. Thomas is married to Klara and they live in London.  He is a consultant at King’s College Hospital.  Thomas joined the Team in 2010, was the National Coordinator for the 3^rd Oblate Congress in 2013 and is now a consultant to the UK and International Oblates Teams.

Jane Coll (Pluscarden) was born in a crofting community in the Western Highlands of Scotland.  She now lives in the far North of Scotland with husband, children and grandchildren.  She has been an Oblate of Pluscarden Abbey for 22 years.  She joined the Team in 2010 and has been a regular contributor to the article on the home page of the Benedictine Oblates website.

Stephen Day (Prinknash) lives in a small village in Gloucestershire with his wife, Teresa, and is now semi-retired following a successful career in industry. He has a keen interest in equestrianism and has, for many years, owned dressage horses. He became a member of the UK Oblates Team in 2010 and was Treasurer until January 2016.

Angela Greenwood (WCCM) has belonged to The World Community for Christian Meditation since 1993 and lives in Crowthorne, Berkshire where she is involved with a Benedictine Oblate cell and a Christian Meditation group. She has been involved in various aspects of the Community over the years and was received as an Oblate of the WCCM in September 2013. Angela is married with sons and grandsons and has a background in teaching, nursing and a family business.

Marie Liveing (St Cecilia’s) has been an oblate since testing her vocation at the end of the 1970’s. Although she did not believe she was called to join the monastery she very much wanted to be connected to the community. She is married with two married children and two granddaughters. She lives in a house in Stafford on part of the site of an ancient Priory and comes with lots of heritage related issues.  She recently re-joined the Team, originally becoming a member after the 2009 Congress.

John Gregory McKinlay (Pluscarden) was born in Scotland, spent time as a child in Ireland, before becoming a school teacher, and later moving to England.  He became the head teacher of five primary schools.  Now retired, he has started his own business, and combines this with his role as an oblate. Married with three grown-up children, John lives in London.  He was co-opted to the Team in July 2014 to assist with the website.

Roddy Maddocks (Douai) has been an Oblate since December 2013.  He is married to Lynne and they live in Oxford.  He joined the Team in 2014 and was the website administrator until 2023.  He became the Treasurer at the end of 2024.

Pam Morey (Prinknash) was brought up in Norfolk as an Anglo-Catholic. She became a Roman Catholic in 1972, and has lived in the Cotswolds for the past 40 years. She has been an Oblate of Prinknash Abbey since 1992 and became a member of the UK Oblates Team in the summer of 2007, she was chair until 2017 and retired from the Team in 2018. She rejoined the Team in early 2024.

Frances Bailess (Minster) is married with three adult children, and is a retired nurse and midwife. She joined the Team in 2013 following attendance at the Benedictine Oblate Congress in Rome.  Frances became the Chair in November 2017 and retired at the end of December 2024.

Fr Mark Hargreaves (Prinknash) was born in Glossop, Derbyshire. He joined Prinknash in 1974 and was ordained priest in 1984.  He has worked for two lengthy periods for the Curia of the Subiaco Cassinese Benedictine Congregation in Rome and is currently Oblate Master and Choirmaster at Prinknash.  He re-joined the Team at the end of 2024.

Katherine Turley (Kitty) is an oblate of St Cecilia’s and joined the Team after the National Retreat at MSB in 2018.

Penelope Coate (Pluscarden) has been an oblate since 2001.  She joined the Team in 2022 as Secretary.  She has retired from teaching and is based in London.

Bev Hallam is an oblate of Stanbrook Abbey and is a retired senior leader in education. She is also a member of the Faith and Spirituality group at Ushaw, delivers days of reflection and also writes reflections for the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. Shejoined the UKOT team in November 2024 and became its website manager in early 2025.

Audrey O’Sullivan is an oblate of Glenstal Abbey and joined the Team early in 2025.
